After Smacking NY 3-2 in NY,
Mande Soccer Team draws with NY
(1-1 ) in Return Match in Newark

After embarrassing the heavily favored
New York Soccer Team on their home
field in front of their home fans, the
mande warriors, playing at home was
able to fan off the hot offence of the NY
boys. 15 minutes into the second half, the
New York team, lead by Famod Konneh,
scored first with huge cheers from their
supporters. Ten minutes later, the Mande
warriors ruined their celebration with a
goal of their own. The two teams
promised to meet again after the
Felmausa;s Convention.

Our goal is to promote the African culture through music,
cultural performances, and fashion show with the intention of
enlightening other cultures/races about Africa. It is rather
unfortunate that the Western media often associates Africa to
war, starvation, and division. It is the goal of FanAfrik to build
the tarnished image of the African continent by bringing Africa’s
best artist to tell a story about the rich culture, and many fun
and exciting facts about Africa.
Our fist annual Concert "AFRIKA" will be hosting celebrated
African artists such as 9ice from Nigeria (Recipient of the Best
African Act for 2008 Music Of Black Origin Awards in London),
the Zamunda African Acrobats, Juxtapower South African
Dancer , Ghanaian actor Van Vicker (Best Male Actor in 2006
and 2007 Ghana Movie Awards ).
