Mande Youth Association of New Jersey was founded in October of 2006 by youth mostly from Liberia, Ivory Coast, and Guinea. Today however, the Association has grown into a strong and recognizable one, attracting members from all corners of New Jersey. The Association is currently headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.The Association had its first general election on Sunday, March 3, 2008, opening up new chapters in the Association's history. Mande Youth Association of New Jersey was founded for the following objectives: To unite all members of the Mande family especially the young, to promote our cultural and moral values to our younger brothers and sisters, to foster mutual understanding between members of our community and others through dialogue, and to contribute (Physically/Financially) towards all positive undertakings in our community.
