Mande Youth’s President Ramadan Message
I send greetings to all members of Mande Youth Association in New Jersey and to the
entire Muslim Jamah as we celebrate this Holy Day. Ramadan, as we all know, is the
holiest month in Islam. At the masjid today, the Imam eloquently stated the importance of
“asking for forgiveness from others”. So it is in this light, that I am asking all members of
our noble association to forgive me for whatever errors I may have committed in the past
as well as possible future errors.
In the past few years, by our collective contributions, we have accomplished a lot but for
Mande Association, the sky is just the beginning. I ask all members and supporters of
Mande Youth Association to multiply their efforts in making sure that our Association, with
noble aims, is second to none other. I understand that due to the systems in this country,
it can sometimes be difficult to get fully involved. But with courage and determination, I
think that we, collectively, can make great strides.
May the Almighty Allah give us the courage and the determination to act—if not for our
own benefits—but for the benefits of our children. I ask Allah to shower his endless
mercies upon us all as we continue to live in this life of love, brotherhood and
interdependence.
